The Pregnant Pelvis

Somatic Exercises for Strength and Flexibility, with Bridget Thompson

Your body changes a lot in pregnancy and after baby, and it all happens in the bowl of the pelvis. The mysterious pelvic floor comprises complex layers of muscles, which need to be strong, but not tight, and flexible, but not loose.

You will learn somatic exercises, trusting the intrinsic intelligence of your body for a more comfortable labor, delivery and postpartum period. You can avoid episiotomy, recover rapidly after birth, have better bladder control and return to lovemaking sooner.

Learn to listen with deep intelligence through movement, metaphor, imagery and imagination.
