Instructor, Lisa Miler, introduces pranayama, the breathwork of yoga, as an exploration. Prana is lifeforce, the energy in all things. Yama means control or restraint. Pranayama is a practice in control of the breath.
In this 60-minute class, we will enliven your energy with movement, direct that energy with a breath practice and end with meditation allowing you to fully experience the effects of this very powerful discipline. All levels welcome!
A new technique is taught every month.
Bring a yoga mat. Wear comfortable clothing. There are mats in the studio if you need. We also have chairs for sitting.
